On May 20th this year 98 volunteers in Pennsylvania set out to join over a thousand other volunteers across the United States and Canada to set a new Guinness World Record by planting 202,935 trees in one hour. You can read more about the attempt here:

After extensive review of the tree planting attempt, Guinness World Records has officially confirmed that it represents the current record for most trees planted simultaneously at multiple locations by teams of up to 100 people.

The Pennsylvania SIC would like to thank everyone who participated and supported this event, and congratulate the participants as official Guinness World Record holders!
